Who is TRACE.Parser suitable for?
TRACE.Parser is designed for professionals in the energy industry who work with time series data for energy generation and want to efficiently convert, standardise and process it between different formats.
Do I need to install anything?
No. TRACE.Parser is fully cloud-based and can be used directly via your web browser.
What do I need to use TRACE.Parser?
You need a stable internet connection and a current web browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge).
How does pricing work?
TRACE.Parser is based on a subscription model. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance used for data processing. The number of included users varies depending on the plan selected.
What are Credits?
Credits are usage units consumed when you process data, perform parsing operations or use the API. Credit consumption depends on the type and complexity of each request.
What happens when my credits run out?
When your credits are used up, you can upgrade to a higher plan — or your usage will be restricted until the next billing period.
Do unused credits carry over?
No. Unused credits expire at the end of the respective billing period, unless otherwise agreed.
How long is the contract term?
Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically unless cancelled. Exceptions may apply to special offers or promotional plans with a fixed term that do not auto-renew. The details of such offers are presented transparently at checkout.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every subscription starts with a 3-day free trial (max. 10 credits). No fees are charged during this period — cancellation is possible at any time.
Can I change my plan?
Yes. Please send your request to support@trace-electricity.com. Upgrades are usually implemented within 1–2 working days. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time (email to support@trace-electricity.com). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: 14 days' notice for monthly plans, 30 days for annual plans.
Is there a right of withdrawal?
No. TRACE.Parser is exclusively for commercial customers. Therefore no statutory right of withdrawal applies. Instead, we offer a 3-day free trial during which you can test the service without obligation and free of charge.
Is my data secure?
Protecting your business data is our top priority. For further information on our security and data protection standards, please see our Privacy Policy.
Can colleagues join my trial or subscription?
Yes. You can add additional users within your plan: S Plan up to 2, M Plan up to 3, L Plan up to 4 additional people (must belong to the same organisation). Simply enter the names in the order form. During the trial period no additional users can be added — separate trial accounts are possible.
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
With monthly billing you pay each month. With annual billing, payment is made once for the entire year — saving 20% compared to the monthly price.
What payment methods are accepted?
Billing is by invoice, payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
Can I integrate TRACE.Parser into my workflow?
Yes. Via APIs and interfaces, TRACE.Parser can be integrated into existing systems and workflows. Please contact us for further information or a quote.
How can I contact support?

Do prices include taxes?
No. All prices are in euros and exclusive of statutory VAT where applicable.

After completing the order form, you will usually receive access within 24 hours on working days — often sooner.
Who owns my data?
You retain full ownership of all data you process with TRACE.Parser.
How is my data used?
Your data is processed exclusively to provide the TRACE.Parser services and is not used for any other purposes.
How accurate are the results?
Results are generated automatically and may vary depending on data quality and complexity. We have high standards for the quality of our results but accept no warranty or liability. You should always check and validate results before using them in critical processes or decisions.
